Is there a free demo I can get dirty with?

I purchased the game on your website but haven't
gotten a download link. Where's my goo?
Several
things could have happened....
- Sometimes
the confirmation email ends up in your spam folder. Check and
see
if it's there. You can also have the download link re-sent to
you
by entering
your email address here
- If
you paid
through paypal with an e-check, those take a few days to clear and
you'll get the download link as soon as paypal processes the payment
(log in to your paypal account and see what payment method you used)
- Mysterious
cosmic
rays might have affected your payment. If your payment has
cleared and you checked your spam folder and still don't have your goo,
send us
an email and we'll take care of you
I can't decide which version to get, PC or
WiiWare, which is better?
They're
both better! The WiiWare supports up to 4 players in a "pick
up 'n' play" co-op mode. The PC version has online
leaderboards for each individual level. Other than that,
they're the same.
I bought the game on your website, but I want to
activate it on Steam, is that possible?
If
you bought the game before the release date, yes, you can activate the
game on Steam with the magic key we sent you via email. From
now on,
if you want to get the Steam version, simply buy the game through Steam.
I installed the game on one of my computers and I
want to transfer my saved game to another computer, is that possible?
Yes!
All you need to do is copy the saved game file which is named
pers2.dat. On
Windows XP, it lives in
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\2DBoy\WorldOfGoo.
On Vista the file is located in
C:\ProgramData\2DBoy\WorldOfGoo. Copy it from one computer
into the appropriate location on the other computer and voila!

What systems does World of Goo run on, and what are the system requirements?
The game is
currently available on WiiWare and for Windows (XP/Vista) and Mac. To play it on Windows, you
basically need a PC that's 5 years old or newer (1GHz or faster
CPU, 512MB of RAM, 100MB of disk space, a 3D graphics card, DirectX
9.0c). On Mac, you need OSX 10.4 or later, with either Intel cpu or PPC G4 or better.
Is 2D Boy a real boy?
No,
he's just the name of our studio. He doesn't know he's not real, so
don't tell him. We don't want 2D tears.

real boy (see above). Please no fraternizing with 2D Boy, he exists in
only two dimensions, which means he has zero thickness, which clearly
means he is very sharp. If you fall in love with 2D Boy, you will only
get hurt.
