Android Release Rescheduled To Monday, November 28
World of Goo (AP) – While attempting to ship Goo for Android devices yesterday, a World of Goo Corporation tanker malfunctioned, flooding a 40 mile stretch of the Pennsylvania Turnpike and disabling around 150 vehicles. As a result, Android Goo will be available to all World of Goo Corporation’s customers via the Android Market on November 28, a 5 day delay from the planned schedule.
“We deeply regret this inconvenience to our loyal customers who are eagerly and patiently awaiting the arrival of Goo on their Android devices” said a World of Goo Corporation Associate PR Representative. “We are hard at work preparing a new batch of Android Goo and are committed to replacing our shipping and logistics sub-contractors who we believe are to blame for this incident.”
“This minor failure may have cost the state of Pennsylvania and several on our insurance partners a few million dollars,” added the representative, ” but we would like to assure our valued customers that this will in no way affect future shipments of Goo.”
The multiple-award-winning World of Goo is expected to go on sale on the Android Market for $4.99, matching the universal iOS version’s price point. It will run on most phones with Android 2.2 or newer and on all tablets, and includes OpenFeint integration.

I’ve got the original version for the PC at least three times. (I got it for ten bucks at the birthday-sale, and I’ve got all the humble bundles)
I will buy it without any hesitation for the Android. I just regret the fact that it took so long. (Why not Android was my first question when it was released for the iPhone, I was convinced that Android would have a bigger future)
Anyways, I’m really glad that it finally will be released for the android.
Now I’m just hoping my €4,50 on my fake credit card will be enough, or I’ll have to buy another prepaid strip of 20 euros. (not everyone owns a credit card here in Holland,.especially not at the age of 18 :))

Effff yeah!!!

Please include a one-level demo or something like that… helps in curbing piracy (for people who simply want to “try out the game”).
This is actually a really big problem for Android games, as even very well written ones sometimes do not work on certain devices and it is very frustrating for someone to have bought the game only to find out that it doesn’t work.
Other than that, looking forward to this! :D
(World of Goo, Cut the Rope and Angry Birds … best casual titles for Android!)

Roomate and I just reinstalled our copies of World of Goo. We both commented on how well it runs with a Wacom table… and in 2 days it will be out for Android??? OOOOooh 2D Boy, this is good news indeed!
Have some details here (http://www.jerslife.com) and will certainly be pushing myself to make a video review.

So? Where is it?
November 29th, 2011 at 4:43 am
Could you add some haptic feedback when you reach the “stretch” limit for a single goo ball, would help, cause on a “touch” device you often dont see it so clear(the stretch limit), and it would help the player later on when the games gets more stressful!!

Would it be possible to have a version without openfeint? I have no interest such things and it gets annoying to have to click no every so often.
I just purchased through paypal. Thanks for allowing direct purchase.
