Leaderboards, Fiction, and Fisty the Cover Model
Finally, we can stop wondering who’s the tallest, fastest, or has the most balls. Some very important updates:
- The leaderboards are here! The are brand new, so let me know if anything looks wrong or suspicious.
- Move over Tyra. Look who’s the cover model on the first issue of Mike Gnade‘s Indie Game Magazine. Fisty would just like to thank all the little Goo Balls, and Misty, because he wouldn’t be where he is today without them.
- Write about things you do with Goo here. Two more days.
- The Mac version of World of Goo is finishing up beta. We should have a build ready for adventurous Mac people very soon. Thanks to the beta testers for risking the health of their computers in the meantime!

Woo, finally! Just a shame that there already have been a few hackers getting themselves some crazy amounts of goo. Also, the serverbot seems to be stressed out just now :(

Still can’t connect to WoG leaderboards, either in game or in browser. Great game, just wanna see how I shape up. :)

Any chance of searching for a username/nickname on the leaderboards to see where one ranks? I’m nowhere at the top but i’m curious to see e.g. what percentile I’m in. Some way to directly relate my own (albeit poor) performance to what other people do.

Heck yeah! Fisty deserves that kind of fame. Although maybe somebody here can explain something to me. Who was the big frog at the beginning of Misty’s Long Bony Road? I’ve heard plenty of theories, from a dead fisty to a completely different frog (Misty?).

Chris: That was Misty. Fisty was also visible, off in the distance. But the level pointed all of that out, IIRC.

Do these leaderboards include the Wiiware version players as well? Or is there going to be a separate one?

I just got the game on WiiWare an hour ago. What an awesome thing. Great work.
