I was so nervous waiting for this to come out. And now it’s here. Our very first review of the full version of World of Goo in Rock Paper Shotgun written by Mr. John Walker. Those RPS guys are gentlemen in every way. -kyle

What an awesome review. Orgasmic, maybe even? Were I to review this review, though, I may not mark it so highly – when Braid came out, the best line was “this game was poured, not built.”
My favourite part? The bit where he mentions the whistle. Yes, he tosses it in there amongst the few negatives he could find, AND I’m sure that someone else had suggested the idea itself before I submitted it, but even then, it’s nice to know I think alike someone else.
” World of Goo is our most-anticipated WiiWare game, and we shouldn’t have to anticipate it much longer — it’s set to arrive in early October (maybe very early October). You may want to start making room in your fridge now. “
Remember when you were old enough to be full of raging hormones but young enough to not have actually managed to convince someone of your prefered gender to have sex with you yet? Remember how nirvana-like you imagined it would be and how desperate, depraved and single minded you became about getting it?
Kind of like me waiting for my World of Goo pre-order now…
Sad really! (But damn, I want it *so bad!*)
*sigh* I think this comment should be deleted and only released with the profanity pack…

I am checking this website every day… Every day I am checking for the words “Download here!” (Yes, I already pre-ordered :) )
With this review I am going to check twice a day.

WOW! That’s one hell of a review. Good to see I’m not waiting for a game that will turn out to be a dud :P
Any idea on a firm release date yet? I’ve preordered the PC version and have 2000 WiiPoints ready for the WiiWare version as well. Bring on the goo!!!

Congrats on the apt and well-deserved review.

That review made me think — will you be releasing a soundtrack with the game?

Review of the year for the possible game of the year? I think so.

And the incentive to PREORDER was what exactly? Are you going to give us the game a day before you release it to the general public? LOL. LAME.

That review took me so far past looking forward to the game that now I’m looking forward to a sequel.
