Postpartum Joy
This past Thursday we released a preview of chapter 1 to everyone who pre-ordered the game. After we fixed an installer problem that prevented the game from running (oops) things started to flow pretty smoothly. It was meant to be a “Thank you, happy Valentine’s day everyone!” but it turned out to be bigger than that.
The biggest surprise was the amount of encouragement and support that you guys sent our way. Thank you! How unexpectedly wonderful! It filled me with gratitude and joy. A bunch of people also started helping out with testing, sending in bug reports and suggestions… some really good ones, too. It’s been so helpful that we opened up the beta email list so that anyone can post to it and allowed everyone to subscribe (more info here).
Hope to see some of you at GDC next week… can’t wait!!!

Frankly, its a damn awesome game, even if I can’t get as high as others. I absolutely love the little sound effects when you play with the goo, so thank you for everything you’ve created, it encourages me to actually get a game out myself. :)

might be annoying by now.. but what’s the release date? The guy @ gamestop saw you on X-Play a night or two ago (http://www.g4tv.com/xplay/previews/20296/Preview_IGF_Finalists.html) & can’t wait for release. Neither can I! :D

Woo! Goo!
This game is awesome, even if i do have to rebuild my tower every time i get more gooballs (if i try to add to one i’ve already made it invariably collapses in an epic fashion)
also, I’m a helper! I help! with helping helpfulness!

Ha ha ha! Brilliant! I love it! For no logical reason I can discern, I find myself constantly replaying to unlock more goo’s just so I can beat other people’s clouds. I’m fairly sure that’s the first time that sentence has ever been uttered.
Can’t wait for release.

Congrats on your awards! You all deserved em. I still sniffle at the thought that the Goo wasn’t tasty enough to take home the McNally. ;(
Anyway. Great job. I’ll be buying this one to throw my support your way.

Just saw a video someone posted of the first chapter of the game. SO AWESOME! It was around the Tumbler level that I turned the video off — it was getting cool enough that I didn’t want to spoil myself.
If this doesn’t become the top-selling WiiWare game, there’s no justice.
