Valentine Preview for You
Our hearts swell with goo for those of you who have pre-ordered World of Goo so far! As soon as we can figure out how the the spam opt-in-mass-emailing technology works, we’ll be sending out preview copies of Chapter 1 today (where “today” is in pacific standard time, you Australians in the future!) to our beloved pre-orderers and those who pre-order in the next few days. So stay tuned, and keep a lookout, quite likely in your spam folder. If you still don’t get the email by tomorrow, check back here and demand goo!
ps. Also, audisurf is released for real, not just a valentine’s preview - go ride daft punk!

Wow, apparently we overloaded our mail server too. It lets us send only 50 mails per hour. Foiled!
Those of you who have posted here, I’ll dig out your emails and have it send them manually to you. It might mean you get TWO emails, but I hope that’s ok :)

At that rate, how long is it going to take? Fifty per hour is quite slow if you have a few thousand mails to send.

Mmm, not the kind of start you would like to have.
The game starts loading then al of a sudden: a error pops up:
“Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime libary”
“Runtime error”
And when I click ok it closes

Try the vcredist from Microsoft. I think I heared of that error before and this one file solved it all.

got the mail, downloaded it, but the World of Goo stays dark.
it starts off with a black screen and a white message flashes in for less than a sec saying: “connecting to World of Goo Corporation …” then it’s all black again and stays dark.
