Human Brain Cloud: Massively Multiplayer Word Association Game

humanbraincloud_shot1.gifThis is the first in a series of mini projects that I will be posting here. Human Brain Cloud is basically a massively multiplayer word association game where it gives you a word, and you type in the first thing that comes to mind. In this way, the brain cloud grows to become a giant network of interconnected words and phrases. The network started with just one word – “volcano“. All other words (several thousand at this point!!) have been submitted by visitors to the site. Play with it here

  8. Paul Says:

When is the site coming back?

  9. Daisy Says:

Such a cool idea! You’re brilliant!

  10. Frankie Says:

When will the site be back up? I saw this on Joystiq and I was so excited until I saw the error that the game was down for some quota exceeded?

  11. Kyle Gabler Says:

Paul, Frankie, and anyone else wondering why the site has “exceeded it’s CPU quota” – the site gets that error when it gets very busy, I never expected this project would become popular enough to regularly crash the server! I guess that’s a good and a bad thing. Luckily, the downtime only lasts for a couple minutes, so keep checking back. I’m trying to fix the problem in the meantime.
